Mahamat Saleh Daoussa Haggar / Research Lab Director

Ladies and gentlemen;
Dear Actors and Partners;
First of all, I would like to welcome everyone to our Laboratory website.
The Mathematics, Computer Science, Applications and Simulation Modeling Laboratory (L2MIAS) of the Faculty of Exact and Applied Sciences of the University of N’Djaména presents, in figures, the following: 68 members including 12 teaching-researchers and 04 Administrative and Technical staff (PAT), on the one hand and on the other hand, approximately 52 Students for the last academic year. In light of these figures, it is the most important ecosystem in the Education-Training sector, so dear to the President of the Transitional Military Council, President of the Republic, Head of State, Lieutenant General of Army Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno.
Our vision is to see the Republic of Chad, our country, like other countries on the planet, become a country in which we use science, in particular, the sciences of mathematical modeling to solve its problems and provide thus, not only its development, but above all the well-being of the whole population.
Since the University’s mission is threefold, training (teaching), research and service to society, through this laboratory we want to contribute to this.
We want to ensure quality training based on scientific rigor and critical thinking while emphasizing interdisciplinarity and social responsibility.
Our wish is for scientific research to be cutting-edge research, that is to say, open to the creation and integration of knowledge that feeds teaching, technological innovation and societal debate.
We want this research to be carried out on the basis of the problems encountered by our country in order to provide appropriate solutions, which will contribute to the development of our social, economic, technological and political environment and will make it possible to be of service to our society.
For our part, to provide suitable and lasting solutions to the various challenges, we will need to be imaginative by emphasizing inclusive management. In other words, it is more than imperative to take off again in order to reach cruising speed together, without by any means wiping out the achievements of which the importance is undeniable. Rather, we will have to consolidate them while seeking to make the necessary changes to write a new page for the L2MIAS Laboratory. In the concert of (African) nations, it is about the national interest in the success of which the performances of our colleagues participate during the various sessions of the African and Malagasy Council for Higher Education (CAMES).
To conclude, at the start of 2022, we would like to present to all the actors and partners of our prestigious Laboratory our best wishes: Peace, Health, Longevity, Prosperity and Happiness, both in quality and in quantity.
